Just to remind you: a free introductory workshop on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) librarianship is being co-hosted by the SLA and ASIS&T student chapters at UBC on February 3rd.
Tom Brittnacher, GIS Librarian at UBC, will present an introduction to the field of GIS and will cover the wide variety of roles and services that GIS Librarians perform. If this is a field you’d like to find out more about, reserve a place by registering here.
